Cancellation Policy

Payment of your class fee is considered acceptance of our Cancellation Policy. 

Class registration is complete and considered final upon receipt of payment.

By completing class registration a place in the class has been reserved JUST FOR YOU; and space in class is limited. We understand that situations beyond your control may arise. They may require you to cancel or reschedule a class. We will be happy to cancel your registration, reschedule your registration to another class, or offer you a refund based on the stipulations in this Life Saving CPR Training Cancellation Policy. NO REFUNDS are offered other than for those reason detailed here.

  1. To Reschedule or Cancel class registrations please notify Life Saving CPR Training via phone or email 48 hours prior to the scheduled class date. NO fee will be applied to a student who reschedules after providing at least 48 hours notice. Students are given one (1) opportunity to reschedule, and it must be rescheduled with 60 days of the original class date. Students may reschedule based on availability of seats. All cancellations are subject to a $10 processing fee. 
  2. If you missed your scheduled class and need to Reschedule or Cancel class registration on the day of or 48 hours after your scheduled class date you must notify Life Saving CPR Training via phone or email as soon as possible. All cancellations and rescheduling with less than 48 hours prior notice are subject to a $10 processing fee. NO REFUND will be issued for a class you have been rescheduled into. 
  3. Students that arrive to a scheduled class they are registered to participate in more than 15 minutes late will be turned away and asked to reschedule. Any applicable fees for canceling or rescheduling will be applied. 
  4. In the event that Life Saving CPR Training must cancel a class all prepaid students will be notified and offered a rescheduled class date. A full refund will be offered at the request of the student. 
  5. Due to potential distractions, class space limitations, and liability NO other individuals (people not registered for class, like children) are allowed in the classroom setting during class or skills evaluations. 
  6. The American Heart Association requires that each student have a course textbook before, during, and after taking the Certification Course. Textbooks are required and non-refundable. The Sale of required class materials are FINAL. 
  7. Lost or Stolen Certification Cards can be replaced. All Replacement Certification Cards are subject to a $20 fee. 

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
